Explanations

The Academy Sales Specialist (ASP) is nationally responsible for initiating and selling client specific- and multi-client AW Academy programs both on identified opportunities and by proactively find new potential clients.

On initiated sales opportunities, the ASP will be in co-operation with e.g., Account Managers, Group Head of Academy Sales and Business Area Manager/Business Developer, but the main responsibility of manage, drive, negotiate and close the opportunity will be on the ASP. The project management for client specific sales include (but not limited to) timeline planning, packaging of sales material, client meetings, contract negotiations and information sharing for all involved and relevant parties from Academic Work and the client.

ASP is responsible to initiate and conduct a follow-up meeting with clients after a delivered program and a win/loss analysis when losing a business opportunity. This is required to help us understand what we should improve and to get insights that help us to develop our offer further as well as to make sure we don’t miss new business opportunities.

As Academy Sales Specialist (ASP) you provide relevant analysis, insight and feedback to support our Academy program decision process.

Member and contributor to the country specialist team. You will partake in developing our processes within Academy sales and in general by offering in depth knowledge of our strategically important clients’ needs and the market we operate in.

Main responsibilities

  • The Academy Sales Specialist (ASP) is responsible to take lead and secure AW Academy sales processes of client specific programs and multi-company programs
  • Identify and approach clients, both with and on behalf of AMs, to secure target fulfilment by securing a large and relevant sales funnel.
  • National coordination when the business concerns more than one branch
  • Develop a proactive and good cooperation with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful sales processes and target fulfillment.
  • Responsible for ensuring a detailed and thorough handover to the delivery team
  • International lead sharing to Group Head of Academy Sales when business concerns more than one country

Main tasks

  • Accompany and support Account Managers in meetings and sales processes with clients where the Academy solution is essential to growth.
  • Take project lead in the sales process of company specific- and multi-client programs.
  • Update and maintain an accurate sales pipeline for Academy related sales opportunities with focus on client specific – and multi-client programs
  • Contribute to forums to give insights and information to relevant stakeholders in how the sales funnel is developing

We are looking for

  • You have at least 3-5 years experience in a business-oriented role
  • You have succeeded well and have a good track record in your current role
  • You have a strategic & analytical mindset in combination with excellent communication skills (oral & written) as well as collaboration skills
  • You are target driven and exceptionally client-focused, with a high motivation to find our clients new and exciting solutions
  • Fluent in English and understands Norwegian

The recruitment proses

The first step in the recruitment process is to complete two tests by Assessio. One is a personality mapping which takes about 20 minutes to complete, the other a cognitive ability test which takes 12 minutes to complete. The reason why we use tests is to ensure a solid and fair recruitment process. After testing, there is a 1. interview and a 2.interview.
